Julia R. Brody

Julia Brody is a Managing Director focusing on global long equity, long/short equity, absolute return hedge funds, and credit.  Prior to joining the Investment Office in 2024, Ms. Brody served as a Managing Partner at East End Advisors.  Before joining East End Advisors, she was an Investment Officer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Before joining the Met, Ms. Brody was a Senior Investment Analyst with the Carnegie Corporation of New York. She holds an M.B.A. from The Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Bowdoin College.  Ms. Brody serves as Co-Chair of the American Council of Learned Societies Investment Committee and as a Director and Investment Committee member of the American Friends of the National Gallery London.  Ms. Brody is also a member of the Spruce Street Nursery School Board of Directors.
