Collette Chilton serves as Chief Investment Officer. Prior to joining the Investment Office in 2006, Ms. Chilton spent eight years as President and Chief Investment Officer at Lucent Asset Management. Prior to Lucent, Ms. Chilton was Chief Investment Officer of the Pension Reserves Investment Management Board, having held a similar position with the Massachusetts State Teachers and Employees Retirement Systems Trust until its merger with the Pension Reserves Investment Management Board. Ms. Chilton began her career with investment banking roles at the First National Bank of Boston and Citicorp Investment Bank.
Ms. Chilton is a board member of The Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and the Berkeley Endowment Management Company. She serves on the investment committee for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston and is an Investor in Residence in the Department of Economics at UCLA.
Ms. Chilton holds an M.B.A. from the Amos Tuck Graduate School of Business at Dartmouth College and a B.S. in Political Economy of Natural Resources from the University of California, Berkeley.
Derek Andren serves as Senior Associate, focusing on global public equity (long-only) and private equity (buyouts, venture capital, and real estate). Prior to joining the Investment Office in 2016, Mr. Andren was Senior Associate at Accolade Partners and Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Andren holds a B.B.A. in Finance from The George Washington University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of CFA Society Boston.
Sean Burbank serves as Senior Associate, focusing on hedge funds, both long/short equity, and absolute return, credit, and real assets. Prior to joining the Investment Office in 2016, Mr. Burbank was Senior Hedge Fund Research Associate at Cambridge Associates. Mr. Burbank holds an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and both an M.S. in Finance and B.S. in Economics and Finance from Bentley University.
Kristin Corrigan serves as Executive Assistant to the Chief Investment Officer and as Office Manager. Prior to joining the Investment Office in 2007, Ms. Corrigan was an Administrative Assistant at Fidelity Investments. Ms. Corrigan holds a B.S. in Marketing from Bentley University.
Christopher Cronin joined the Williams College Investment Office in April 2017. Prior to joining Williams, Mr. Cronin spent the previous ten years in public accounting at various Boston firms performing audits and preparing tax returns for a variety of industries, including investment companies, family offices, not-for-profits, and municipalities. Mr. Cronin received a M.S. in Accounting from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in 2008, and a B.A. in Accounting and a certificate in Latin from St. Anselm College in 2006. Mr. Cronin is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
Julia Crosby serves as Managing Director, focusing on global public equity (long-only) and private equity (buyouts, venture capital, and real estate). Prior to joining the Investment Office in 2012, Ms. Crosby was a Research Consultant at NEPC, Private Equity Senior Manager at Alcatel-Lucent Investment Management Corporation, Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank, and Senior Associate at BancBoston Capital. Ms. Crosby holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College.
Kristina Johansson serves as an Administrative Assistant to the Managing Directors. Prior to joining the Investment Office in 2019, Ms. Johansson was an English Teaching Assistant with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education. Ms. Johansson holds a B.A. in Art History and German from Washington and Lee University.
Bradford Wakeman serves as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining the Investment Office in 2007, Mr. Wakeman spent six years at Lucent Asset Management first as its Director of Risk Management and later as its Director of Public Market Investments. During his time at Lucent, Mr. Wakeman also served as a Trustee and Chair of the Investment Committee of Lucent’s U.K. pension plan and provided general oversight of Lucent’s other non-US pension plans. Prior to Lucent, Mr. Wakeman was Chief Financial Officer of the Massachusetts PRIM Board. Mr. Wakeman began his career as a CPA auditing investment funds.
Mr. Wakeman is on the Advisory Board and the Land Conservation Committee of the Trustees of Reservations and is active in other conservation organizations.
Mr. Wakeman holds a B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley College.
Abigail Wattley serves as Managing Director, focusing on hedge funds, both long/short equity, and absolute return, credit, and real assets. Prior to joining the Investment Office in 2007, Ms. Wattley served as a Senior Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates. Ms. Wattley holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Williams College.
